Tomorrow we are getting our tree. I am very excited about this for a number of reasons. 1) The obvious - it's Christmas and we're getting our tree! 2) Our older daughter is nearly three and for the first time is aware of Christmas going on around her and is VERY interested and excited about it all, without quite knowing why and 3) this year I get to steal liberally from Natural History to decorate said tree!
That said, I can't wipe myself out - orders are still pouring in so I don't want to put myself in a position where I am guiltily taking ornaments off the tree & wrapping them back up to send out, but I think I can allow myself one box of glass ornaments, don't you think?
